We’re a family of seven, so it’s hard for people to imagine that we do anything “minimally” or “lightly.” And of course, any time someone hears that we strive towards minimalism, we get the jokes about how we’re not minimalist when it comes to children.
A gap year can be one of the most memorable years of your life. If you plan it right, it can set you up for lifelong success. But it shouldn’t be worrisome. You shouldn’t feel like a failure if you haven’t got your entire life figured out at the end of it.
Our family loves to travel. We’ve been traveling Europe for the past few years, since we live there, but we’re just as excited to get back to the States and continue our travels. There’s just too many amazing things to see in the world.
