This is a special edition of MOMENTS since Trump accounts can be so critical to the next generation’s financial success.
I also want to apologize for not sending a MOMENTS out over the last month.
I have been working on many new projects — I’m mostly excited about the website I’m building that categorizes kids’ books by the lessons they teach
(I’ll share that in early 2026).
I’ve started a few more projects, I’ll tell you about in the near future.
Finally, if you’re interested in AI tools, check out my website, BestResources.AI, where I’ve compiled over 500 AI resources by category.
Take a few MOMENTS to relax and read.

MONEY TIP
Claim every free dollar your kids qualify for. Trump Accounts are officially rolling out, and some children qualify for a $1,000 federal deposit — no income limits. Others qualify for a $250 Dell-funded deposit based on ZIP code. Even if you never contribute another dime, starting early gives their money 18 years to grow.
If you’ve got kids under 18, this is worth five minutes of your time.
O
OPPORTUNITY
The Trump Account itself. It’s rare that a totally new, tax-advantaged account appears — especially one aimed directly at kids. Trump Accounts invest only in broad U.S. index funds, which I love, because it forces hands-off investing. In my full guide, I show how $1,000 grows from ages 1, 5, 10, and 15… and the differences are unreal.
M
MINIMALISM TIP
Automate your generosity to your future self (and your kids). Instead of trying to “find money to save” each month, automate a small recurring deposit — even $25. Decision fatigue is real. Automate once, and your future self never has to argue with your present self again.
E
ESSENTIAL READING
The full Trump Accounts guide — not because I wrote it, but because this is one of those things parents can’t afford to misunderstand. A lot of the benefits happen only if you act early. You can read the actual bill and legislation plans if you want, but I promise my article will take less time, and you’ll retain more.
N
NOTION
“Money grows when you leave it alone.” Kids learn best when they can see progress. If you open a Trump Account, show them what’s happening each year for their own futue. Watching $1 turn into $2 is magic. Watching $1,000 turn into $4,000 is a life lesson.
T
TRAVEL TIP
Bring the financial conversations with you. When you’re traveling, ask your kids simple questions like, “How do you think this hotel pays for everything?” or “Why does this meal cost more here than at home?” It builds awareness in small, painless moments.
S
SCRIPTURE
“Precious treasure and oil are in a wise man’s dwelling, but a foolish man devours it.”
Proverbs 21:20
Closing Question
Maybe you expected this, but the question is…
Do you know what Trump accounts are?
If you haven’t read the full Trump Accounts guide yet, here’s your nudge. It’s written to make sense of a confusing system — and to help parents take full advantage while the window is open.
